Walk to:
Playa Rosada (20 min) - left-hand point break, lighter crowds. Not for the faint of heart.
Santana (10 min walk) - a peaky beach break that works best on higher tides and shorter swell periods. Ideal at 3-5 ft.
Beginner's Bay/Sardinas (10 min walk) - a mellow, deep water wave. Perfect for long boarding or learning how to surf.
Popoyo (25 min walk) - a rock point break that works on all tides and can handle some macking swell.

HOW TO GET HERE
We are approximately a 2.5 hour drive from the Managua Airport, 3 hours from Liberia, Costa Rica, and 15 minutes from the Costa Esmerelda Airport.

Bus
Economical and Safe
Buses in Southern Nicaragua can be tardy and crowded but incredibly budget friendly. Buses to the Rivas area leave from Wembey Plaza Bus station.
There are also shuttle services from Rivas and San Juan.
